We undergo a full suite of pre-design research to establish solid foundations for your project. This invaluable process also lets us firmly establish if we are a good fit. At this phase we have completed enough ground work together to be able to provide a fixed fee proposal for the remaining architectural services you require.

We will tailor a package of services to your unique needs whether that is just design services or a full turn- key experience complete with beds made and champagne in the fridge.

Once we have established a stable foundation and clear picture of your vision we can start designing your dream home.

We start with the architectural elements, alterations, additions and new structures. What form will your home take? How does it relate to place? How does it both shelter and connect you?

Your home will be modelled in 3D so you can understand the full vision and participate in refining it for your best life.

Hard landscaping elements are incorporated into the architectural design process. Including fence design, outdoor pavilions or living spaces, garden walls, pools and so on. We love plants but know little about them! On planting design and garden lighting we collaborate with talented landscape designers.

At Carmen + Co interior design is included in the design process for every project.

We love interiors and they are a huge part of the design of a home. When the interior and exterior of a home is conceived in one mind they form an integral and cohesive home. You can tell the difference.

To ensure we are of one vision, key rooms are modelled in 3D. So even if you can't understand 2D drawings you will have a clear picture of the design.

We adore furniture and fabric! As promised, assistance is here for you on every decision if you require it. Keep your lighting, appliances, furniture, curtains, linens and decor a cohesive part of the whole with our assistance. We share our trade discounts and preferred pricing with you as part of this phase.

I am here to assist you throughout the construction process. Supporting you to select the best builder for your project, obtaining final pricing of your home and ensuring that it is built as designed.

I can also administer the contract between you and your builder if required.

As your new home nears completion we will work with the builder to address any defects and ensure everything is perfect.

We also ensure you have all the information you need to properly care for and maintain your new home.
